Transfers again...

Good morning from the land of a thousand lakes! :) (Actually it's a lot more than one thousand but let's not be particular) :D How are you, dear reader? I am pretty okay. The missionaries got their transfer calls last week's Saturday and they pretty much immediately told me who is leaving and who is staying... Needless to say, it was not fun to let four of my bonus family members go to the next city, but that's part of the life of missionaries. Just a part of my life too lol.  We had a really good time this past transfer. Our senior couple missionaries are returning to Finland today! YAYY!! I am so happy and grateful. I was asked by the couple to take care of the missionaries. I tried to do so as well as I can. I tried to cheer them on and I fed them a little ice cream :D Ice cream is important! I am so happy because I make friends with all the missionaries :) Some people in my ward at church don't want to make that effort. Their loss, is what I can say. The friend

Boss/Mom and her excellent children :)

Good afternoon! This post is about two things: 1. How awesome missionaries are 2. How I am always on their side come what may SO. There has been a little break from last week's Tuesday until this week's Tuesday when I couldn't go to church or the activities at church. I had the flu... :( A little remnants still but almost okay now. I went to Game night this week on Tuesday. It was good. I spent a lot of time talking with one of the sisters and we played the piano for each other.. Then I also got a blessing because my anxiety has been acting up again. I must say, our elder Heaton is like a big brother, even to me! :) So wise and je ne sais quoi. Just a really good person. I am so grateful for all my bonus children.  I do not really remember if I told you in this blog that I am saving up money to go to Utah next year with my mom :) I have never been there. We have two relatives and their families living in Salt Lake City... I have like a billion children in Utah lol. Not a b

Resting is important too :)

Good afternoon from Finland! :) I have been really tired... I used to drink a lot of pepsi max each day (max is the sugar free kind)... A week ago I stopped drinking it cold turkey. :D I was inspired to do so by many friends, also some missionaries of course. They helped me making the choice. And I am really tired nowadays, I nap many hours each day... My medicine makes me tired. And my sleep apnea. I do not know if I have lost weight but I feel better. I have not been to the church in a few days because I have also had the flu :( Tonight I will try to go to game night with the missionaries, wish me luck! :)  (Luck with staying awake lol). More later! :)
