Difficulties on the mission

Hey there! Maybe I am the only one who thinks that missionary work is tough sometimes and it can make you struggle. But I do not think so. Missionary work is pretty tough often. Especially if you take it really seriously and try too much or push yourself too much to be a better sister/elder. I know now that I did have a predisposition to get mentally exhausted when I have too much stress.  On my mission I managed to sleep only four hours a night. That is way too little for me at least. Put stress of missionary work, challenges with your companion(s) and trying too hard and too much on top of that and you have yourself a situation similar to what I experienced. When I came to the hospital after my mini mission they told me my diagnosis: psychosis and also my progress (like development of the mind as you grow up) was "locked". I sometimes joke that I am really a 20-year old in my mind. I do not really know but I did not become an adult when I was 18... more like 38 :D Of course

Missionarywork and missionaries :)

Hello! So I guess if you are reading this you probably know me a little, or a lot or you THINK you know me lol. I am just happy I know myself lollers :D I am so funny. Yes. Indeed. Anywhooo... How are you dear reader? I am really happy and content. Which is NOT usual for me. I often have really bad anxiety. BUT, as I have said many times in this blog, my anxiety has been gone since I started spending a lot more time with the missionaries. You know why? I think I have a few theories... 1. Missionaries give me that good feeling of being part of the group, they never leave anyone to the side, they are very inclusive and friendly 2. The nostalgia. Obviously, I have grown up with the missionaries in my life 3. They speak my happy language: English. The language English and missionaries are forever intertwined in my mind. I studied English for years at the university and of course before that too. English is my "work language" as you have probably guessed? 4. Missionaries ar

Happy weekend from Tampere! :)

Hello there! I have had writer's block, sorry... Really bad one lol. I have continued going to the activities at church and meeting new people with the missionaries. I am also often a good online missionary because I tell people on different platforms and groups online a little about my faith. I also often invite friends to the activities, not only non members of course, but all my friends. I am so grateful for my missionary family. We got three new ones of course when the old ones left. We got sister Faddis, elder Carlson and elder Helske. Elder Helske is from Northern Finland and actually a very distant relative of mine :) Sister Faddis is also really nice. Elder Carlson served here a year ago, so he came back. It has been so much fun making memories and helping others. My depression has not been bothering me at all. It is a miracle. I will post a few pictures from our latest fun activities. It has been fun. We also watched general conference together at the beginning of April..
