Good morning from Finland! :)
Hope you are all doing well. I am doing really well.
Last weekend we had our stake conference, and this time it was .in Turku. the old capitol of our country. I like Turku a lot.. The people are nice, the ocean is close by (makes me feel at home, because I lived in Stockholm 12 years). I used to pass through Tukru A LOT when I lived in Stockholm...
I got a ride there with my friends. That was really nice.
On Saturday we arrived and we had the evening meeting at the church. I only said a quick word to the missionaries and left early because I was hungry and tired. I spent the night at my friend Virika. It was really nice. We watched "Isn't it romantic?" -a romantic comedy on Netflix, we also ate pizza.
Sorry, this blog has turned more into a "normal blog" with a dash of missionaries! I am sorry!
So. On Sunday I went a little earlier to the theater where we had our Sunday meeting. I sat before the meeting in the back corner and most of the people arriving came through that door, especially all the missionaries! :D It was so fun to high five or shake some hands when they passed by. The person sitting next to me exclaimed: "Wow! You know a lot of missionaries..." I answered: "I think they know me." Well, of course it goes both ways... HAH! Yeah, I know, I am SO funny.
I went tio sit next to my current missionary family (those serving in Tampere) in the first row and met Elder Watson! I hadn't seen him since November last year. It was good to see him. I gave him a going home -present on Saturday, told him to open it on the plane lol. Something he might like.
He is soon going home.
After the meeting I stayed a while to chat with the missionaries and then left with my friends a while after that. I took a picture of elder Standage, he looked so happy, And of course of me and elder Watson. One more for the road hahhah! :D
Anywho, it was a very successful weekend and I learned a lot of new things that were taught at the meetings. I like traveling too. Me and my friends stopped at a restaurant/shop on the way back in a place named Aura. Which reminds me that I love blue cheese! A Finnish kind of blue cheese is named Aura cheese :D
More later!
